Go for a canoe, kayak or paddleboard. Play horseshoes. Have a campfire. Grab a puzzle or game from the lodge. Go for a walk to the river. Sit on the beach and relax!

Limestone Point Day Use
Take the trail beside Cabin 9 over to this picnic site, explore the limestone, look for fossils and fish off the rocks.

 

Pictograph Site
Ask us about visiting a pictograph site near Point 1. We can provide the location and a description of the pictograph.

 

Fossils
The limestone rock around Cabins 1-4 contains multiple fossils. We can get you started hunting them all down!  To learn more about the fossils found here in the limestone, check out this article on the Ordovician Period

Beaver City Tours

Historic Trail to Sturgeon Weir River
Follow the trail from the site of historic site of the Hudson Bay Company Warehouse, to the Sturgeon Weir River, then on to Beaver City. Ask for a map at lodge.
